The Australian Institute of Sport and Nestlé have been working together since 1999 to bring health and activity into Australian schools.

The Good Village is an education program developed and designed for teachers, by teachers to upskill students on health and wellbeing, fitness, nutrition and sustainability.

The Good Village is aligned to the Health and Physical Education Curriculum and the Sustainability cross curriculum priority area.

Teachers help their primary school students to work their way through the four activity areas of The Good Village map, exploring and developing the skills they will need to complete the main challenge – which is to create their own athlete village!

A.H. Beard is the official bedding partner of the AIS. As a part of the exciting collaboration both parties will research the impact of sleep on athletes.

The partnership will see A.H. Beard provide mattresses for the AIS Residences and AIS Altitude House ensuring that Australia’s top athletes are well rested night after night.
