ASC launches graduate program

05 March 2024

Graduate opportunities are now available at the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) through the Australian Government Graduate Program.

The ASC is excited to join the Australian Government Graduate Program (AGGP) and provide opportunities for new graduates to take the next step in their professional careers in sport.

The ASC Graduate Program is part of the Australian Government’s flagship Australian Public Service-wide graduate recruitment campaign under the umbrella of the Career Pathways initiative.

With applications now open until Monday 15 April, university graduates will be recruited and matched to roles in key capability areas in more than 60 departments and agencies across the Australian Government.

The ASC will accept applicants from one of six AGGP Streams (Data, Digital, Generalist, HR, Indigenous and Stem), with successful graduates to complete a two-year program at the ASC.

ASC graduates will complete one of two learning pathways:

  • Strategic Operations: Graduates to complete four rotations in areas such as policy development, governance, sports administration, and business management
  • Technical Specialist: Graduates will complete two rotations with placements based on their domain of specialty, including (but not limited to) cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, machine learning, data analysis, business analysis, and UX/UI design.

The ASC Graduate Program will commence in October 2024.
