Shuttle Time is designed to provide a positive badminton experience for children and youth through a fun, engaging and social environment. The program helps participants experience success in a safe and inclusive environment regardless of their ability.
The Shuttle Time program combines a range of fun physical activities with learning the technical and tactical elements of the game. This includes the development of hand-eye coordination, catching and throwing, stability and balance, speed and agility as well as jumping and landing skills.
The program can be adapted to meet individual school requirements and Badminton Australia qualified deliverers can assist schools to deliver badminton activities as part of Sporting Schools.
Packages available range from 4-8 sessions in duration and include:

- Shuttle Time Xpert

Schools can purchase a school badminton set from Badminton Australia to use within their Sporting Schools program for $295 plus delivery costs and GST.
Each badminton equipment set includes:
- 20 Rackets
- 3 dozen Shuttles
- 2 Nets
Additional equipment may also be purchased upon request.
To become a coach and deliver badminton in Sporting Schools please ensure you are working towards the following requirements:
Sporting organisations that wish to become a coaching provider for Badminton Australia and deliver in Sporting Schools must meet the requirements below:
- Hold a valid ABN or declare ABN exempt
- Confirm adequacy of insurance
- Register with Badminton Australia and State/Territory association.
NOTE: All coaches that operate under the coaching provider must meet individual badminton coach registration requirements.
