Paralympic legend Louise Sauvage shared her journey with the coaches.

Launched in July 2022, the National Generation 2032 Coach Program is a joint initiative between the AIS, National Institute Network (NIN) partners, and National Sporting Organisations (NSOs).

The program sees 31 coaches from 22 sports undertake a paid two-year coaching apprenticeship within high performance sport.

The coaches capped off a huge inaugural year with their final ‘learning labs’ in Melbourne and Sydney in December.

In Sydney, the coaches headed out on the water for a sailing lesson with renowned coaches Arthur Brett and Belinda Stowell.

The cohort then switched the sails for the mats for an exclusive lesson with martial arts legend Larry Papadopoulos before meeting with Paralympic legend Louise Sauvage.

In Melbourne, our coaches visited the Melbourne Storm for a special lesson in club culture before hitting the boxing bags with Mixed Martial Arts fighter Uyen Ha.

The trip was topped off with a cooking challenge for a bit of fun.
