Coach Delivered Program

Our fantastic coaches are ready to give you and your

students the ultimate hockey experience with our Coach Delivered Program!

What do you get?

  • A minimum four-week program, designed perfectly to fit your school’s schedule.
  • Sessions that are suitable for all playing surfaces whether it be asphalt, grass, or in an indoor hall.
  • All equipment provided.
  • Offerings can be adapted to cater for students with additional support needs.

Teacher Delivered Program

Wanting to deliver the program yourself? No Problem! The Teacher Delivered Program offers teachers the ability to create the perfect Hookin2Hockey Schools Program for their students.

What do you get?

  • Hookin2Hockey Schools Guide – our NEW ultimate resource for learning how to deliver the fundamental skills of hockey while matching it to 50+ exciting, fun and safe game’s. Perfectly aligned to the National Physical Education Curriculum Standards this resource makes teaching hockey in schools easy!

Wanting to purchase equipment? Our staff are on hand to help with any equipment purchase enquiries.

Equipment

All Coach Delivered Programs are facilitated by Member Associations Staff, who will bring all required equipment to run your program. All Teacher-led Programs can be supported by equipment purchased via Just Hockey.

Your Hockey contact will chat to you about your equipment needs and help with any enquiries.

Teachers

To deliver Hockey as a teacher, you need to meet the requirements below:

  • Hold a valid state and/or territory teacher registration
  • Be employed at the school
  • Confirm adequacy of insurance

Coaches

To deliver Hockey as a coach, you need to meet the below requirements:

  • Registered in OfficialsHQ as a coach and connected to a provider, SSO or NSO ·
  • Be aged 16 years or over
  • Hold a current Working with Children Check (paid check) or relevant exemption
  • Confirm adequacy of insurance
  • Agree to coach terms and conditions

To deliver on behalf of NSO, coaches need to:

  • Be connected to an endorsed provider, SSO or NSO in OfficialsHQ
  • Complete Hockey Australia’s Foundation Support – Coach Accreditation.

Coaching Providers

To deliver Hockey as a provider organisation, you need to meet the below requirements -

To be an endorsed provider for Hockey and deliver on behalf of State Sporting Organisation, providers must also meet the requirements below:

  • Agree to Memorandum of Understanding with SSO (If Applicable)

NOTE: All coaches that deliver under any provider must be registered and meet coach registration minimum requirements.

Hockey Australia have developed a high-quality school resource that offers 50+ activities aligned to the national curriculum, as well as comprehensive session plans, game cards and easy-to-follow videos, making it simple for teachers to deliver hockey in a school-based setting.

The program is not only fun and inclusive but also seamlessly fits into individual school’sHookIn2Hockey Schools Guide educational objectives. Whether introducing students to hockey for the first time or finding a sport that suits all abilities, download and integrate the new program now.
