Introducing Ping.Pong.Play – A Fresh, Fun Approach to Table Tennis in Schools!
Ping.Pong.Play is Table Tennis Australia’s exciting new program designed specifically for primary and secondary schools. Developed in collaboration with ACHPER Victoria and aligned with the Australian Curriculum, the program brings a modern, inclusive twist to table tennis.
Whether your students are seasoned players or picking up a bat for the first time, Ping.Pong.Play offers something for everyone. With a focus on fun, skill development, and participation, the program promotes movement, teamwork, and confidence in a way that’s accessible and engaging for all.

- Whether you’re in a gym, classroom, or shared space, the program adapts to your environment— with some activities requiring no table at all!
Primary Schools

Ping.Pong.Play inspires curiosity, confidence, and connection through fun, age-appropriate table tennis activities that promote movement, teamwork, and physical literacy—no table required!

Secondary Schools

The Ping.Pong.Play Secondary School Program offers a dynamic and inclusive experience that goes beyond gameplay. Tailored for older students, it builds skills both on and off the table—encouraging leadership, teamwork, and critical thinking through roles like coach, umpire, and event organiser. With flexible delivery options and ready-to-use resources, it’s easy to implement in any school setting.

Special Olympics Australia

The Ping.Pong.Play program is built on the principles of adaptability and inclusion, ensuring all students—regardless of ability—can participate meaningfully. With modified activities and support resources, the program caters to students with intellectual disabilities, autism, and physical impairments. Aligned with our alternative sports model, students can take on roles beyond playing—such as scoring, coaching, or managing equipment—encouraging confidence, collaboration, and engagement. Developed in collaboration with Special Olympics Australia, the program includes targeted resources and training to support teachers and coaches in delivering inclusive, enjoyable experiences for every student.
The teacher delivered model is accessible throughout all Australian States and Territories.
While we have coaches and providers available in all States and Territories, coach delivered program is dependent on coach availability.

Equipment Packages


Teachers
To deliver Table Tennis as a teacher, you need to meet the requirements below:
- Hold a valid state and/or territory teacher registration
- Be employed at the school
- Confirm adequacy of insurance
- Complete Ping. Pong. Play. online course
Coaches
To deliver Table Tennis as a coach, you need to meet the below requirements -
- Registered in OfficialsHQ as a coach and connected to a provider, SSO or NSO
- Be aged 18 years or over
- Hold a current Working with Children Check (paid check) or relevant exemption
- Confirm adequacy of insurance
- Agree to Coach terms and conditions
To deliver on behalf of Table Tennis Australia, coaches need to:
- Be connected to an endorsed provider, SSO or NSO in OfficialsHQ
- TOPS Coaching Accreditation
Coaching Providers
To deliver Table Tennis as a provider organisation, you need to meet the below requirements -
- Registered as a provider in OfficialsHQ
- Hold a valid ABN or declare ABN exempt
- Confirm adequacy of insurance
- Agree to Provider Guidelines and Provider organisation terms and conditions
- Meet safety assessment (as determined by Table Tennis Australia)
[To be an endorsed provider for Table Tennis and deliver on behalf of Table Tennis Australia, providers must also meet the requirements below:
- Agree to Memorandum of Understanding with Table Tennis Australia
NOTE: All coaches that deliver under any provider must be registered and meet coach registration minimum requirements.
